God Will Not Destroy the Righteous with the Wicked

Many Christians in America believe that the Catching Away will either not happen, or happen after the Great Tribulation. Some Christian, who call themselves prophets, are adamant about these beliefs.

The basic scenario is everybody, including the righteous, will go through the Great Tribulation, in which many will die, and Jesus will rapture whoever is left of the righteous. Basically, the Christians who do not die will be the ones to get raptured.

One guy, who calls himself “the chief prophet of prophets”, plainly says, “There ain’t gonna be no rapture. It’s unScriptural”. Those were his words.

Remember when Abraham interceded for Sodom and Gomorrah? He plainly asked God if He would destroy the righteous with the wicked. He asked, “If there be fifty righteous within the city, will You also destroy and not spare the place for the fifty righteous that are therein? That is far from You, to do after this manner, to slay the righteous with the wicked, and that the righteous should be as the wicked. That is far from You. Shall not the Judge of all the Earth do right?”

God replied, “ If I find, in Sodom, fifty righteous within the city, I will spare all the place for their sake’s”’.

Abraham repeated the question several times, but the number decreased to 45, 40, 30, 20, and 10. God gave the same answer according to the number of righteous in question, but apparently, there were not even 10 righteous in the city. God removed Lot, his wife and two daughters and waited until they were safe in the city of Zoar before executing judgment on the cities. Lot’s wife looked back after she was told not to, and she turned to a pillar of salt.

That is a foreshadow of what God will do when that Great Day comes.

Jesus said His return will be like the days of Noah. I will not go into too much detail, but basically people were lost in their good times and their entertainment, not to mention, as the Bible says, everything had corrupted itself. Basically, everything God created was contaminated, just like today.

God saved Noah and his family in the Ark before executing judgment on the Earth.

This is a foreshadow of what God will do when that Great Day comes. This time, Jesus is the Ark.

Search the Scriptures. Jesus is the same yesterday, today and forever. He does not change. He has never destroyed the righteous with the wicked, and He’s not about to start. Why would He?

Saying the Catching Away will be delayed until after the Great Tribulation, or saying it will not happen at all, is insinuating that God will destroy the righteous with the wicked, which is totally false. Remember, some of the Israelites never entered the Promised Land because of their unbelief.

Just like in Noah’s day, the invitation is extended: whosoever will, come and be saved. Why will you die in your sins and be lost forever without Jesus? Repent. Ask Jesus to save you. Ask Him out loud.
